These terms apply when you submit a story to Funny Pet Stories (The Daily Zoomies). By checking the consent box on the tip form, you agree to the following.

It’s your story

You confirm the story is yours to share and that submitting it doesn’t break anyone else’s rights or a promise you’ve made to someone else.

You let us edit and publish it

You grant Funny Pet Stories permission to edit, adapt, and publish your submission — in the newsletter, on this site, and in related promotion. We may trim it, rewrite it for the house voice, or combine it with other material. We’ll credit you by the name you provide only if you ask us to; otherwise submissions run without a byline.

Nothing publishes automatically

Every submission enters a moderation queue and is reviewed by an editor before anything runs. Sending a story is not a guarantee it will be published, and we may decline any submission.

Entertainment only

Published stories may be fictionalized or composited for comedic effect. See our privacy policy for how we handle the email address you include.
